About Us

Fab Tec has been operating for over 30 years and started out as an agriculture manufacturing company.  Since then we have switched into the potash mining industry, as well as, the oil and gas industry. We currently do work for PCS-Rocanville, PCS-Scissor Creek, PCS-Lanigan as well as Mosaic K1, K2 & K3. We  have done various work on-site and in our fabrication shop, we are primarily a structural fabrication  shop but are not limited to that.   

In the past we have done a range of things like: structural steel packages, ladders, monorails,  platforms, pipe connections, chutes, structural maintenance, PRV assemblies, brine tank install, fresh water lines, collar forms, handrail, water & canola oil storage tank erection, pre-fabricated building structures,  etc. A wide range of products we are able to fabricate in our shop and perform on-site.   

We are a CWB certified company with CWB welders. We are certified in SMAW (Arc) and  FCAW/GMAW (Mig) in both stainless steel and carbon steel. We do all our painting and specialty finishes in shop including urethane paints & pickling as well as epoxy painting. As well we also do all of our own sandblasting. 

We are able to do just about everything in-house at our shop. Some specialty work like  machining and our bigger laser cutting we get done locally. Anything we need we try to get as local as  we can. Starting with our local suppliers, then provincial suppliers and slowly making our way outwards.   

We have handled on-site and fabrication projects both large and small. Not only large and small  in size but also in quantity as well. 

Safety is a top priority at Fab Tec with our company being a COR registered company. We also  hold an A rating with ISNetworld, and have currently gone 12 years without a lost time injury as of 2021.
